Everyone enjoyed a potluck
dinner of ribs, homemade chicken pot pie and all the fixings.
Thank you to all that brought
the great food. Lots of laughter, eating, and general fun was enjoyed before
the meeting.

welcomed as the meeting began.
Minutes
The June meeting minutes
were accepted without change.
Old Business
Dale and Edith Moffitt were
presented patches to celebrate 100K mile on their Yamaha Venture. Good Times!
SCRC Mileage Program
Dale Moffitt presented the
outline for the mileage program. Sararuth and Dale are designing a patch and
rocker riders that reach each 2500 mile increments. Dale will provide the first
patches and the chapter will provide the rockers.
The program outline is:
- Patch for first 2500 miles.
- Rocker for each 2500 interval following.
- SCRC patch or decal must be displayed while riding.
- Miles are reported at each month’s meeting or by email on meeting date.
Ride the Pig!
An update on the ride July
26-27th was shared. The accommodations are filling up. One hotel is full and the second one is nearly full. We have
riders from around the state meeting up along I-40 as we travel to Ozark, AR.
If you want to join in, contact Tia for hotel information. The ride coordinator, Randy Boggs is keeping a rider’s log to be sure no one is left behind and receives
all the information.
New Business
New Members
14 new members have joined
since the June meeting bringing our member count to over 100. Ray Hunnicutt was
our 100th member!
Chris and Amber Koehler have
initiated the transfer procedure from RT 66 Chapter to our Chapter. Welcome Chris
and Amber Koehler!
New Rides
Two members have new rides. Billy Brimm, Sr. Sararuth Pearce is now
riding her own Scooter!
Locks of Love
Toni Halbritter participated
in “Locks of Love” recently during Sparks Bike Week. She donated
12” of her hair. She looks great sporting the new bob and is helping someone
in need. Great Job Toni!
Hear the Rumble…Feel
the Spirit
1st
Place in McLoud’s Blackberry Festival Parade was presented to Kickstandz and SCRC Chapter
194 for the entry in the parade. The $50 prize was donated to the chapter. There were 44 riders all showing their patriotic pride. You could hear the rumble and feel the spirit as the group honored veterans of past, present, and future.
Sararuth designed patches
to commemorate this win. The patch is available for $5 and she will donate $1
for each patch to the chapter.
While waiting for the parade
to start, a woman ran off in a ditch. The SCRC men lifted her car out of the
ditch and helped her on her way. That is the biker way!
Over 25 members participated
in the Blackberry Festival Poker Run on Sunday helping the Chamber event reach over 250 bikes in the ride. Great ride, great fun.
Website Update
Kenneth Fletcher presented
information about our website. All members are encouraged to use the features
of the website. The message board is a great way to get to know each other and
keep up with club events. You must register the first time you log into the message
board to be able to post a comment. Communication via the web is very important.
