Ruth is working on our patches. A single patch will be used with rockers for
each 2500 mile interval.
NEW BUSINESS
Judy
Sell, McLoud Historical Society spokesperson, invited everyone to attend the upcoming event scheduled for September 20th. The proceeds benefit the Historical building renovation project. There will be a poker
run, car & bike show, as well as arts & crafts show.
Let’s
Ride Project
A project
to engage all our members in riding, planning rides and having some fun was introduced.
The project outline is available on the website. Each member earns points
by riding, planning rides, helping other bikers, and signing up new members for the period of August 12th and September 9th. The winner of the project will receive two VIP passes to see Montgomery Gentry,
Gary Allan, and Keith Anderson at the Zoo Amphitheatre October 17th. All
SCRC Chapter 194 members are eligible to participate. Click on the chapter points

ROAD
CAPTAIN AND TAILGUNNER TRAINING MEETING
The state
officer, Bruce Mathis, is planning a meeting for road captains and tail gunners to share information and experience. SCRC Chapter 194 has 6 spaces reserved. The
location and time of the meeting is not confirmed at this time. It is tentatively
set for August 31st. More information will be supplied as soon as
available. If you hold either of these positions you are encouraged to attend.
OUR OWN
MEMBER TO SPEAK AT RALLY
Mike Pearce (Bear) will be one of the guest speakers at the Bell
Cow Rally in Chandler on September 5th & 6th. Mike is scheduled to
speak on Friday evening of the rally at 7:30.

was a busy month! Our chapter members enjoyed the rides and everyone was safe.
Rick Tripp talked
about the Magic Wheels Rally in Wilburton. Although it rained, they had a great
time. Rick won 1st place for his Venture and Suzanne was the worst ever poker hand award. Ric and Teresa Williams
went to Rush Springs Watermelon Festival and suggested we all try to make it a ride next year, they said it was really a lot
of fun, and they welcomed all bike riders to their festival.

Morgan is searching for her own bike. We may want to help her with some retail
therapy!
RIDE
TO VISIT MEMBER’S FATHER
Janice
asked that everyone that could try to ride to see her father. He is battling
cancer and a visit by the members of our club would really cheer him up. A date will be announced soon.
