OLD BUSINESS
No old business to review.
NEW BUSINESS
We currently have 152 members in
Chapter 194. Now lets make sure that we are active members in the chapter.
STATE MEET
Plans for the state meet are moving
on a positive track. The shirt design has been approved by our state officer
and is currently waiting for approval from the SCRC National headquarters. The
pin design is done and ready to order. The patch design is currently under construction
and should be done any day. Currently 135 pamphlets have been printed with the
cover page and map soon to follow. The binding materials for the ride pamphlet
have been ordered and when they come in a binding party will be announced.
ENTERTAINMENT
Entertainment for the Friday
portion of the state meet will be “Stone Cooper Band”, Ray Hunnicutt had a chance to see and play with the band
and stated that they were very good and we should have a very enjoyable time.
EAGLE RESCUE
There will be 3 trailers set-up
in Shawnee, Morris and Sallisaw for the Saturday ride, this will allow for a quick pickup of any stranded rider. Details are being finalized as to who will be with the trailers.
FLIER
All members are encouraged to PROMOTE,
PROMOTE & PROMOTE our upcoming state meet and ride. The more who know the
better the turnout. Fliers are available with Tia.
ROAD CAPTAINS AND TAILGUNNERS
Thanks to those who volunteered
at the last meeting. We will start pairing up and getting cell phone numbers
to each road captain and tail gunner so they will be able to contact any member during the ride for any emergency.
OTHER BUSINESS
Vickie Brimm gave a Treasury
Report. The current amount in the treasury is $721.00.
Next meeting is May 12, 2009. We will be less that 1-month away from the State Meet.
All members are encouraged to participate in making this the best State Meet.
